Sno-Trails Snowmobile Club
Trail PassES
Wisconsin law requires everyone who uses Wisconsin snowmobile trails to display a Wisconsin Snowmobile Trail Pass. Funds from this program are designated to Wisconsin snowmobile trails and other costs related to enhancing Wisconsin snowmobile recreation. Trail passes are valid from July 1st through June 30th.
How to Purchase
Members of any AWSC-affiliated snowmobile club (including Sno-Trails) may purchase discount trail passes at a cost of $10 per sled, for sleds registered in Wisconsin.
Discount trail passes must be purchased through AWSC at www.awsc.org. You will need your AWSC membership number and the Wisconsin registration numbers for your sleds. Discount trail passes are only available for personal, non-commercial sled use.
Discount trail passes purchased through AWSC are sent out by the State of Wisconsin. Note: It is legal to ride with your receipt for 3 weeks from date of purchase.
Trail passes purchased from the DNR or over-the-counter are $30 for Wisconsin residents or $50 for non-residents. Trail passes are available at many businesses in Sawyer County, including the following Sno-Trails business members -
G-2 Food & Fuel
Pat's Landing
How to Display
The trail pass must be permanently affixed by its own adhesive to the bottom center portion of the snowmobile windshield. If there is no windshield, the sticker must be displayed in a highly visible location on the front of the cowling of the snowmobile. Once affixed, the sticker may not be removed or transferred to another snowmobile.
